Table Tennis North is committed to making table tennis accessible to everyone, no matter where they live in the Northwest Territories. Through a variety of innovative programs, we create opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to be active, develop new skills, and connect with their communities.
Whether you’re looking to improve your fitness, learn the basics of Table Tennis, stay active at home, or bring the sport to your school or community, our programs are designed to make participation fun, welcoming, and inclusive.
Virtual Ping Pong Challenge
Our Virtual Ping Pong Challenge encourages participants to stay active through fun skill challenges that can be completed at home, at school, or in community recreation facilities. Players can practice ball control, coordination, creativity, and personal improvement while challenging friends and family along the way.
Aerobic Table Tennis
Aerobic Table Tennis combines movement, music, and Table Tennis inspired activities into an engaging fitness program. Designed for participants of all ages and abilities, the program promotes physical literacy, confidence, and healthy lifestyles while introducing fundamental Table Tennis skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Virtual Table Tennis
Not every community has access to tables or coaches. Our Virtual Table Tennis resources provide instructional videos, games, coaching tips, and practice activities that help participants continue learning wherever they live. The program supports athletes, coaches, teachers, and families throughout the Northwest Territories.
Hay River 2023 Legacy Project
In 2023, Table Tennis North was honoured to be selected to host the Canadian Table Tennis Championships in Hay River, Northwest Territories. The event would have brought athletes, coaches, officials, volunteers, and visitors from across Canada to the North, showcasing both our communities and the growing strength of table tennis in the territory.
Unfortunately, the unprecedented 2023 wildfires forced the cancellation of the championships as communities across the Northwest Territories focused on the safety and well-being of residents. While the event could not take place, its legacy continues.
Building Table Tennis Across the North
Every program offered by Table Tennis North shares a common goal: creating more opportunities for people to play, learn, lead, and belong. Together with our schools, clubs, volunteers, coaches, and community partners, we continue to grow table tennis throughout the Northwest Territories, one community at a time.
